This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all registrations, fees, and payments made on www.mithilaidol.in or through authorized payment channels for Mithila Idol events.
By registering or making any payment, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Registration Fees
Any registration, audition, or participation fee paid to Mithila Idol is non-refundable by default.
Fees are collected to cover administrative, venue, technical, and event management costs.
2. Cancellation by Participant
If a participant chooses to cancel or withdraw after registration, no refund will be provided.
Failure to attend an audition or event on the scheduled date will also be treated as a cancellation with no refund.
3. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Mithila Idol
Mithila Idol reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule any audition or event due to unavoidable circumstances such as weather conditions, technical issues, government restrictions, or other unforeseen reasons.
In such cases, Mithila Idol may, at its discretion:
Reschedule the event, or
Adjust the participation to another date, or
Provide a partial or full refund, if deemed appropriate
The decision of Mithila Idol in such matters shall be final.
4. No Guarantee of Selection
Payment of any fee does not guarantee selection, advancement, prizes, or winning.
Refund requests based on non-selection will not be entertained.
5. Payment Failures
Mithila Idol is not responsible for payment failures, delays, or errors caused by banks, payment gateways, or third-party service providers.
In case of a failed transaction where the amount is debited but not credited to Mithila Idol, the refund (if applicable) will be processed by the respective bank or payment provider as per their policies.
6. Duplicate or Excess Payments
If a participant makes a duplicate or excess payment due to a technical error, they must inform Mithila Idol within 7 days of the transaction.
After verification, a refund may be processed within 7–14 working days, subject to applicable deductions.
7. Refund Method & Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method only.
Processing time may vary depending on the payment gateway or bank.
8. Changes to This Policy
Mithila Idol reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
